Bernard Urban and Brett Stiles first worked together when they were art directors at an agency in Florida. They recently reconnected and are looking forward to future collaborations. Brett Stiles is the Gigantic Interview.
Describe what you do now and
past experience.
I have a small graphic design firm based in Austin, Texas. We plan, draw, create and design everything from logos, posters, brochures, books, and annual reports to identity systems, product packaging, websites and CD covers.
In the past I worked as an Associate Creative Director for 10 years at GSD&M’s Idea City. Some of the clients I work on were AT&T, United States Air Force, SouthWest Airlines, Pebble Beach, The American Legacy Foundation and Pennzoil to name a few.
What are you working on right now?
I’m currently working on an environmental graphics assignment for LiveStrong (Lance Armstrong Foundation).
What is your idea of a perfect assignment?
Working with smart,
sophisticated and open-minded people.
What inspires you?
My son, skateboarding,
music, graffiti, table tennis, industrial design and travel.
